As a child I was always seeking new experiences.  I sought relationships and conversations with all types of people, from all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.  I was engaged by their stories.  And that desire to understand the journeys of my fellow man followed me into business.

My father was a serial entrepreneur and was involved in everything from property development, to technology, to retail operations.  Unwittingly, I followed suit.  I have lived the quintessential 'corporate grind' in public accounting and I have white-knuckled the entrepreneurial ride that is the life of most small business owners.  Between the two, I choose the thrill of business ownership.  Even with all of its highs and lows, I'm still not ready to get off the ride.

I do believe however, that the experience can be smoothed and still be exciting.  The thrill of the unknown can be replaced by the thrill of achieving a strategic goal and growing an organization - your organization - to more 'success' than you ever could have imagined.  That's what I have endeavored to do with Solutionpoint Consulting.  I purposed to use my 30 years of business experience and knowledge coupled with a network of strategic partnerships and complimentary value added services to help my fellow business owners reach their definition of business success.

I believe every business owner deserves to go to bed at night happy about what they do and with a peace of mind that their business is in good shape.  If you believe that too, let's talk and see if Solutionpoint is the right company to partner with you in your success.

Early on in life, while working in my mother’s business, I developed an appreciation of the sense of accomplishment that occurs when a small business owner takes their dream and brings it to fruition. I witnessed the pride in the quality of work she provided and the satisfaction she gained knowing that she was providing a superior customer experience for her patrons.  I also observed how the fun she enjoyed from this perceived ‘freedom’ of entrepreneurship was often skewed to frustration when she would veer off course and neglect the appropriate business activities.

The experience of watching this unfold for my mother and realizing that this discouragement was universal to most business owners, fueled my personal desire to work in corporate America.  As a Vice President of a Bank I had the opportunity to assist several businesses of various sizes and in various markets, grow and flourish.  The flip side of that, was that I saw just as many flounder and fail.

I closely studied the dynamics of business through both sets of lenses and it has equipped me with a unique skillset.  I am able to steer entrepreneurs away from some of the common missteps others have made.  And I can also direct them to the actions that lead to success.

My strongest gift in life is the one that has served me best in my career; it is the ability to read people and pinpoint the secret sauce that “makes them tick”.   This secret sauce is most often their passion.  My professional experiences coupled with the resources and strategic partnerships at Solutionpoint Consulting have enabled me to harness this passion and identify a path to success. It is a path and a partnership which allow the business owner to focus on the metrics that grow their business while never neglecting the other integral areas that are required for a healthy bottom line.
